What RenderSmart is — and isn't
RenderSmart is a free introduction service. We use SmartMatch™ to pair a homeowner's enquiry with one local rendering specialist who can quote for the work. RenderSmart does not carry out, supervise, manage or warrant any rendering work, does not employ the specialists, and is not a party to any contract between you and a specialist.
How the introduction works
When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to one matched specialist who will contact you to arrange a survey and quote. Any survey, quote, contract, payment and the work itself are solely between you and that specialist. We cannot guarantee the specialist's availability, that they will take on your job, any particular price, or the standard, timing or outcome of any work.
Vetting is not a guarantee
We take reasonable steps to check the specialists in our network, but our matching or "vetted" description is not a warranty or endorsement of any specialist, their work, pricing, insurance or conduct. Any prices, ranges or cost guides shown on the site are indicative general guidance only and are not quotes.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information in your enquiry.
- Carry out your own checks before engaging a specialist — for example confirming insurance, references, guarantees and a clear written quote.
- Use the site lawfully and do not misuse it (for example, no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it, or use it fraudulently).
Intellectual property
The content, design, branding (including "RenderSmart" and "SmartMatch™") and other materials on this site are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our permission.
Other websites
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Our liability
The site and its content are provided for general information on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any dealings with a specialist introduced through it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the law where you live.
